We Are Sorry Is Onsale

yucd

Ladies and Gentleman, it’s with great pleasure that I can finally say ‘We Are Sorry’ is available NOW!!!  Go and buy it, sell your souls, your kidneys, your bodies NOW!!

First up – for the ‘Old School’

CD distribution for now is somewhat limited.  That’s great news for those of you in Poland but a bit pants for everybody else.  The album is available from all great retailers, but for the bardzo kulturalny here is a link to buy it from Kulturalny Sklep.

And now – The ‘Digital’ Generation

Thankfully we live in a digital world so it is now easier to spread music quicker than an exotic disease, therefore it is indeed available on iTunes and Amazon and certainly many others that I am too lazy to google.

Go now and buy it, consume it and devour it, and then, let me know what you think.

Release Day Tomorrow

In case you live under a rock, and are not a lizard person(I have nothing against lizard people; I think they govern the world in a fair and just manner)tomorrow will see the release of the finest Spandau Synthpop album in the history of Spandau Synthpop, ‘We Are Sorry’ by the band I am so deeply honoured to be a member of, #Yu.  Which is us.  The band.

To entice you further and to ensure you buy the album I have a few things to share.  First I will offer you the following preview of the album

‘We Are Sorry’ – Album Preview

‘We Are Sorry’ contains 10 songs and 4 bonus tracks.  The songs contain words and music.  Some of the words are Polish words. And some of the words are English words.  There is almost no silence whatsoever.  The album may or may not contain a significant amount of Synthpop of the Spandau variety.  You are welcome.  But ‘We Are Sorry’.

To further convince you that you should buy our album I must tell you that if you don’t you will probably be sad forever and die alone.  Alternatively I will tell you an anecdote.

The most tiring thing about being part of a Spandau Synthpop sensation is the amount of press you have to do to promote the album.  Here is a short video of me talking about the exciting moment I was offered the opportunity to join #Yu recorded exclusively for the Japanese market –

Don’t forget to order ‘We Are Sorry’ tomorrow!!!

It’s with great pleasure that I can finally announce the release of our album on May the 6th 2016.  The album entitled ‘We Are Sorry’ is guaranteed to be a massive hit, so don’t miss your chance to immerse yourself in the glorious sounds of Spandau Synthpop.

In the meantime, before you run off to preorder the album, here is a short video which really gets to the heart of what we have tried to achieve with ‘We Are Sorry’.  Take a look…

A Frog’n’Dog Update

It’s been a long time since I have updated my site for various reasons.  One of the projects I have neglected is the album I worked on, what seems like a million years ago by the Polish rock band ‘Frog’n’Dog’.

For reasons such as life, health and that kind of bullshit, Frog’n’Dog split up at the end of last year. Genuinely, I had no idea what was going to become of the material we had worked on.  I was delighted when I saw that Marcin Kuchniak, the guitarist and ‘Dog’ of the band has shared the entire album on Soundcloud.

The album is almost entirely in Polish, aside from one of my songs, entitled ‘Seventh Circle’ which, you guessed it, you can listen to in full right here:

The best thing about Soundcloud as a medium is that not only can you listen to millions of songs free, but you can also download them.  There if any of you want the entire album you can get it here – Frog’n’Dog Entire Album

Now go forth, rock out, and bang your heads.

A New Era Has Begun

Welcome, witam, wilkommen, velkommen, welkom, bienvenue, bem-vindo and hello.  As you can see, I have had the decorators in(no sniggering at the back) and redesigned my website.  I sincerely hope you like it and find it much easier to find your way around.  If not, then you really shouldn’t be on the internet.  Or allowed to go outside.  Or to reproduce.

This site represents what I hope will be a significant change.  In the past few months I have learned a great deal about the Henry Tomlinson which lives inside all of us.  I hope to share some of those thoughts with you in the coming weeks.

Alas, today I do not want to talk about tomorrow. I want to talk about today.  For those of you that may have missed it, I, Scott Andrews, am in a Spandau Synthpop band.  It is a story so odd and yet somehow majestic that I will likely save it for a book one day.  Almost a month ago, our first music video was released.  In that time it has clocked over 77,000 views on YouTube.  And, guess what, you lucky bastards can see it below.  Until next time…
